An AI agent can sign a hotel review reply on its own when three things are true: the review is positive, it mentions no incident, and it names no one. Everything else waits in your inbox for your OK.

Rafael Osborne (Profit Guest Services) draws that line before any agent touches a Google, Booking.com or Tripadvisor profile. Speed on easy reviews is the win. One wrong public reply costs more than the time saved.

Write the rule this week

  1. Signs alone: 4 or 5 stars, no complaint, no proper name.
  2. Waits for you: 3 stars or less, any complaint or refund request, or the name of a guest or a team member.
  3. Reaches you with no draft: accidents, legal threats, discrimination or personal data requests.

Two checks that keep it honest

  • If the agent is unsure which line applies, the review waits.
  • Every Monday, read ten replies it signed alone. One wrong reply means a tighter rule.

Why does a name stop the reply? Thanking the wrong person, or confirming in public that someone stayed with you, is a mistake everyone reads before you fix it.
